first find yourself a qbus manual with pin definitions. Then connect (by
soldering to the backplane of the minc lines qdal(16-21) which are the 4 upper
22-bit qbus lines. you know have a 22-bit backplane 'cept for one small problem
if you have any minc cards still in it - several minc cards USED bdal(16-21)
for other things so you will likely have to make sure that bdal(16-21) in the
cpu card cage is isolated from bdal(16-21) in the minc instrumentation bus
section. you should then be able to get a set of cables (don't remember the
part number) to connect the ba23 to the minc backplane. As for making a
mincro-vax (yea i thought up the name) you do the above and move the cards
over. Now that I think of it, I don't remember which part of the backplane
was q/q and which was q/cd but I do remember that there WAS a way to do it
(it may have required the ba23 and cables...) you will also have to add
4 resistors to the bdv11 bootstrap-terminator card to match lines bdal(16-21)
