    Hey,

we have a problem with our Postscript Printer, because we need
to print a banner. We use DECstations 5120 running Ultrix V4.2.
The problem is that the banner is in ASCII, I think,
and the printer understands only postsctipt, so the printer
hangs, when we print a normal postscript file with banner
(lpr -Ppostprn1 <file>). Our /etc/printcap looks like this:

    postprn1|lp1:\
        :lp=/dev/null:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/post1err:\
        :of=/usr/lib/lpdfilters/prtfilter:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/postprn1:

Could somebody tell me, how I can print banners with a
PostScript Printer ? Please mail me your informations.

    Thanks for your efforts,

        Oliver
