US-CO-Colorado Springs-Design Engineer Design Engineer Design state-of-the-art digital/analog circuits for various applications. Simulate with the latest CAD tools (Sun workstations with Cadence software), HSPICE circuit and Verilog logic simulations. Work with senior design engineers in debugging and characterizing new products. Also work with all aspects of new product development from product definition through production transfer. Basic understanding of computer systems (both HW and SW), logic design, CMOS circuit design techniques, CMOS processes and circuit layout is required. Familiarity with circuit and logic simulation tools and programming skills are also desirable. A Good understanding of electrical engineering principles with the ability to solve problems analytically is critical. Knowledge of structured programming is essential. Analog Design Responsibilities include circuit level design, simulation, and lab verification of 400 Mbps IEEE-1394 PHY devices. Ideal candidate should have experience in operational amplifiers, line drivers, sampled data systems, PLL, A/D and D/A converters, high speed and logic design. A Good understanding of electrical engineering principles with the ability to solve problems analytically is critical. Knowledge of structured programming is essential. Preferred Education/Experience: BS/MS Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 2 or more years industry experience as a Design Engineer. We reward success and hard work with competitive salaries, tuition reimbursement, stock options and stock purchase plans, and a flexible benefits package.
