We did that, it's called README, one has to flip through it though and
at least glance at the headlines. How many thousands should we spend
on mailings for calls for nomations?

I'm sorry if your README did not come to you due to a change in
address, obviously that can happen. But that's a bit different than
saying we were not trying to publicize nominations. If your address
was wrong with us (perhaps due to our fault) then you would not have
gotten a special mailer either, right?

I really think this discussion is degenerating, we did what people are
suggesting, people didn't bother to read the sources, I don't
understand what we are supposed to do? Walk up to every member and
shout in their ear?

As I've said before: SUG Elections occur every year in time for the
conference. In order for that to happen calls for nominations begin in
the Summer and close around Sept some time. This has been true for
several years.

7/15		Time for SUG nominations

Now you'll never miss it.
