The WMH is the estate of Sarah Winchester who believed her life would be spared an Indian curse if she built her house 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. She did for 38 years, and the result is...bizarre. The tours takes about an hour and the House is probably best gotten to by car. the tour costs something like $12, but I thought it was worth it. The grounds also include small museums of Americana and the history of the Winchester Company (who's most famous product is rifles). Alex Newman Sun User Group troll@sug.org
