Sunergy eschews Sun Users...

Although asked repeatedly over a period of months, SunEnergy refuses
to list the SUG conference in their "comprehensive list of computer
industry trade shows". Queries go unanswered.

Their text even invites additions. Surely the Sun User Group, the
oldest and most successful Sun trade show, would merit being in their
schedule.

Why?

Please express your displeasure with this to:

You might want to copy the SunFlash editor also as that is the mailing
list on which Sunergy posts their info: flash@sunvice.East.Sun.COM or
other relevant e-addresses.

If people want a User Group perhaps it's time to be heard. Thank you.

Relevant text for reference:

I am more inclined to think this is simply ignorance than any overt
attempt to exclude SUG from Sun Mailings. I may be wrong and don't know
the politics involved, but I have had to deal with the Sunergy people
before and I would not be surprised at all to find out they have never
touched a SUN in their lives.

The statement above makes it clear they don't even know SUG exists.

Maybe try explaining it to them again.

Brian

Perhaps.

But Miyong Byun, editor of the Sunergy newsletter and the address
inquiries are sent to, worked for SUG for about three years until
around the time of last year's conference.

You might think she knew we existed and about our annual conference...
