Introduction & Advanced Cryptography
October 21, 1996
Techmart, Santa Clara, CA

Cryptography has become one of the main tools for privacy, trust,
access control, electronic payments, corporate security, and numerous
other areas. As we move toward becoming a computerized information
society, the need to global computer and network security is becoming
increasingly urgent. This one-day seminar provides a comprehensive
overview of this critical technology.

Issues to be addressed include:

o Will the algorithm being used now be valid in five years?
o Current US export policy treats products that have a cryptographic
capability as "munitions products." Do those regulations apply to
  your environment?

Who Should Attend:

Information security managers, system and network administrators,
consultants, technical staff, and developers who need to learn about
cryptography.
