The Washington Area Computer User Group (WAC) will host a free Personal Computer Upgrade & Repair Clinic for the public on Saturday, June 19, 2010. WAC experts and volunteers will be on hand to help you with virus and spyware removal, troubleshooting, and hardware and software installations (including GNU/Linux and properly licensed Microsoft Windows operating systems). Also featured will be a Hands-on Help Question and Answer session to address your PC questions, and a "Learn 30" session to demonstrate the use of simple encryption software to protect your personal information. The computer clinic is scheduled for 12:30 to 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 19th at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), 4210 Roberts Road, Fairfax, Virginia. WAC meetings are free and open to the public. Bring a friend! WAC is a general interest computer user group that supports the Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux operating systems.
