You are invited to the next meeting of the Washington Area Computer User Group (WAC), scheduled on Saturday, July 18th from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), 4210 Roberts Road, Fairfax, Virginia. The meeting is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not required to attend. Our guest speaker at the July meeting will be Gene Barlow of User Group Relations (http://www.ugr.com/), who will host a live "webinar" (virtual meeting via the web) with a demonstration of Acronis True Image Home 2009 software and tips about backing up your PC hard drive. The two way online connection will allow Gene to answer questions from the audience. The July meeting will also include a "Learn 30" tutorial session about digitizing your slides by OLLI PC User Group member Tom Hady. WAC is a non-profit general interest computer user group that supports the Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux operating systems. For more information, visit our web site at http://www.wacug.org/, e-mail info (at) wacug.org, or call the WAC AnswerLine at 703-370-7649.
