You are invited to the next meeting of the Washington Area Computer User Group (WAC), scheduled on Saturday, May 9th from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), 4210 Roberts Road, Fairfax, Virginia. The meeting is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not required to attend. Our May meeting will feature a presentation on how to keep your PC clean. In addition to physically cleaning your PC, a little occasional effort scrubbing its operating system, hard drive, applications, and data files will pay off with improved performance, reliability, and system life. Our guest presenter Gabe Goldberg will describe and demonstrate easy cleanup steps and highlight two books about PC housekeeping. Concurrent with the presentation, the May meeting will feature our PC clinic, during which WAC's experts will assist in troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software problems. This service is only available to WAC and OLLI PC User Group members who register in advance. Complete rules and registration information are online at http://www.wacug.org/clinic.html, or leave a message on the WAC AnswerLine at 703-370-7649. WAC is a non-profit general interest computer user group that supports the Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux operating systems. For more information, visit our web site at http://www.wacug.org/, e-mail info (at) wacug.org, or call the WAC AnswerLine at 703-370-7649.
