You are invited to the next meeting of the Washington Area Computer User Group (WAC), scheduled on Saturday, October 13th from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia. The meeting is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not required to attend. At the October WAC meeting, Gabe Goldberg, Regional Representative for the Association of Personal Computer User Groups (http://www.apcug.net/) and technology writer for the AARP web site (http://www.aarp.org/learntech/computers/), will present an extensive โshow and tellโ session on more than two dozen technology gizmos and gadgets, many of which plug into a PCโs USB ports. Also mark your calendars now for the WAC meeting on November 17th. Our Guest Speaker will be Dave Whittle, contributing writer to Smart Computing Magazine (http://www.smartcomputing.com/), author of "Cyberspace: The Human Dimension," and named by Working Woman Magazine as "one of America's most original technological thinkers." Join us as Dave demonstrates and introduces you to products, technologies, and services.
