Firstly, you will get better/more support if you used the demon.ip.support.unix
newsgroup (this is also sent there), as people there will be more able to
help with the Demon-specific stuff there.

There is a Linux/Demon connection package on ftp.demon.co.uk under
/pub/linux/Demon (called slack........) which gives you the information and
files needed. I have done an equivalent for INN (as it is not covered in the
aforementioned package) which some people are trying out before I make it
available via ftp. I cannot help with Cnews, hence no answer, but I have
posted this forward to a group that may be more useful.
