Hello, I've just had an ISDN line installed in my house (courtesy of Pacific Bell). I've got a PC running Linux 1.2.x. I'd like to hear some recommendations as to ISDN vendors. I originally considered the Motorola BitSurfr but I'd like to multiplex the two B channels and I'm doubtful as to the ability of my UART in handling that much data. I am also considering getting an Ethernet card and hooking up my terminal adaptor to that. Does anyone have recommendations on vendors for this type of configuration? Thanks, Braun Brelin bbrelin@netcom.com

Linux support is good (as allways) and it's cheap :) Miguel

Your best choice is to use an Ethernet bridge or router. You will get much better performance than going through a serial or parallel port. I use the Ascend Pipeline 25 since it supports two voice ports as well as data. The Pipeline 50 is good for data only apps. By using the ethernet port, you won't have to worry about having Linux support your serial card.
