The new release of the extended file system programs (efsck and mkefs)
is available by anonymous ftp on ftp-masi.ibp.fr [132.227.64.26] in the
directory /pub/linux/ALPHA/extfs. It should be available on tsx-11.mit.edu
soon.

This new release (version alpha 12) fixes the following problems :
	- a minor bug in efsck has been corrected (thanks to Stephen Tweedie
	  <sct@dcs.ed.ac.uk>),
	- efsck and mkefs have been adapted to gcc 2.3.3 and libc 4.2 (the
previous version didn't compile with gcc 2.3.3/libc 4.2).

This release is available in several forms :
	- efsprogs12.tar.Z : source and binary programs,
	- efsprogs12.bin.tar.Z : binary programs only,
	- efsprogs12.src.tar.Z : source programs only,
	- efsprogs.p12.Z : patch against version 11.

	Happy new year !!!
