Just a note.  This version of dbmalloc is very old.  The current version
was posted to comp.sources.misc in Sept and is much, much better than
the original (faster, more options, leak detection, better docs, better
portability, bug fixes, etc, etc).  If possible, you should obtain and use
that version.
