  If you
  1) want to use Seyon
     a) and have SLS
        1) and don't want to edit your Imake config template to fix it
        2) and don't want to install Seyon manually
        3) and don't want to use Seyon's binary distribution since you
           a) don't have libc 4.2
           b) or don't have X libs 2.1
        4) and don't mind not having color
           a) or don't have color
     b) or have a fast modem
        1) and have a fast computer
        2) or have 16550 and FIFO
        3) and want to use
           a) 56700 bps
           b) or 115200 bps
     c) or want the latest beta version since
        1) you're a hacker
           a) and like to find bugs
           b) or like to look at code
        2) or think the new beta might have new features
           a) or corrects old bugs
     d) and have ftp access
        1) or can use ftpmail

Then get version 1.74 from sib.mit.edu under /pub/seyon/new-beta.

I should get a life! :-). Although I normally announce beta versions
only on the mailing list, that version has two features that some
peoople may need now: (summary of the above nonsense) it supports
baud rates up to 115200 bps (linux only) and doesn't need it's
app-defaults file, although it won't be in color if that file is
  missing.

  NOTES:
  1) Using speeds 56700 and 115200 is disabled by default. You have to
enable it in config.h if you want to use it. This feature also
requires the new serial patches from tsx-11. ENABLING THIS
FEATURE WITHOUT THE NEW SERIAL PATCHES WILL NOT WORK.
  2) Due to [what I suspect is] a bug [or a feature!] in the serial
driver, you may get "Operation not permitted" error (EPERM) when
enabling the high speed feature. Run as superuser (root) or
     disable this feature (default).
  3) If you have SLS don't run xmkmf. Just rename Makfile.SLS to
     Makefile, compile, and install.
