The new version 1.1 of xsysinfo is available at the following sites:
sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/linux/Incoming/xsysinfo-1.1.tar.Z
and tsx-11.mit.edu:/incoming/xsysinfo-1.1.tar.Z (I hope it will be moved soon
to a dir, where it is world readable)
xsysinfo is an X application to display some Linux kernel
parameters in graphical form. It is like a mix of top, free and xload
with the difference that the values are shown in form of a horizontal bar.
The displayed values are: CPU load, CPU idle, memory and swap sizes
Changes since last version:
- it uses the proc fs to obtain kernel params
- new, more detailed memory info
- supports up to 8 swap partitions/files
- gauges can be disabled
xsysinfo requires at least Linux 0.99pl2 with proc fs. The included binary
is compiled for shared libs 4.2 and XFree-1.1 with 2.1 shared libs.
Have fun watching the kernel work...
