I read with interest in the Linux Printing HOWTO about fax support
under linux. It seems FlexFax is the way to go as it supports faxing
in and out and replaces getty so the same line can be used as a dialin.
Can anyone provide some practical feedback based on experience setting
this sort of thing up under Linux ? We would like to connect a V.34
fax/mode which supports Class 2/Group III faxing. Any modems we should
use or avoid (Australian preferences) ? Is FlexFax the best way to go ?
Any other GOTCHAs with all of this ?
Thanks for your help
