I have had an ST-15150N in constant operation since April with no
problems. I have a friend with very similar experiences. My ISP has a
whole passel of them in constant operation for a much longer period of
time without inordinate failure rates. The important thing here is to be
meticulous about the cooling. The major problem is that the people who
are too lazy to read and follow the manufacturer's instructions are
usually the ones with the biggest and baddest mouths. But I guess that
that is a consistant pattern of arrogance.

But seriously, if you are unwilling to devote the time and $$$ to do the
proper cooling then definitely avoid Barracudas. But if you give them the
proper care, feeding, and love they will serve you long, well, and fast.
