He does not necessarily use a Voodoo card. At this point Mesa (which is the
Opengl-like driver for Linux) supports Riva 128, Riva TNT, TNT2, GeForce,
Voodoo (all but rush), several ATI cards and more.

In order to give a specific answer on how to install Mesa (the OGL you will
need) you will need to specify which video card you have. At that point I
can give you a brief overview of what to do.

As a start cruise over to http://www.mesa3d.org/, the complete documentation
is there along with a list of supported chipsets.
