I am a Neofit in Linux, but you make a mistake by overclocking your CPU. The CMOS come with an autodetect utility for the voltage, CPU clock and number of clicks. The only thing you'll get that way is to damage your processor, your Asus motherboard or both and without cache, the Celeron won't get any better, just it will be risky to damage, loosing your warranty.
