Just to boast... I just installed Linux on a 333 Celeron processor and am overclocking it to 550MHz (5x112MHz) on a 100MHz Asus motherboard with 512Mb RAM. It has a Adaptec 2940UW scsi controller running Ultra Wide Connectors to two 9.2Gb UW 7200 rpm SCSI DISKS. Oh and it has a Glint 4000 video card just for fun. Not that I have any need for this.. I just wanted to see what Linux would do under these circumstances. The box compiled the 2.0.35 Kernel, with modules, in just under 5 seconds. I was amazed! By the way.. it is still slow running NT server. p.s. Don't try this at home.. the box sounds like a jet aeroplane with three fans in it!
