floppy pbm on Omnibook

Hi,

I have an HP Omnibook 5500CT with Linux. I compiled the 2.0.35 kernel, but
even if I boot with the 'floppy=omnibook' boot option I cannot access to my
floppy drive. With the 'mdir' command, I get
"init A: unknown media type
cannot initialize A:".
The mount command isn't of any help either.

I enclosed my config file, zipped (2,2k).

If someone had a solution to this problem ...

Thanks,
Vincent
