I have a HP C3325A hard drive and AHA-2940W SCSI adapter. Lately, the hard drive can't seem to bootup. The SCSI adapter says the drive won't startup and in SCSISelect, when I try to verify the drive, says "Sense key Not Ready (sense code 2)" or something to that effect. The drive is divided into 4 partition, /dev/sda1 is OS2 Boot Manager, /dev/sda2 is a DOS FAT fs, /dev/sda3 is Linux ext2 fs, and /dev/sda4 is free space. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

OS/2 will stop or hang if these switches are missed. One more problem is that, sometimes the Adaptec adapter needs to low-level format your HDD to recognize it. I got the same problem with Quantum 1080S when swiching from Always IN-2000 ISA-SCSI to AHA-2940W Hope this is some info. Good success ! Allen
