No Sound from CD-Rom

Hi,

I have successfully set up my Sound Pro on board sound device which is on my
motherboard using kernel 2.0.35, however I can only play wav files and .au
files. When I use KDE's CD Player I don't get any sound, even though the
volume control is set correctly.

tia,

Greg.

  Hi Greg,
seems to me like you haven't connected the little audio
cable from the CD player to the sound card. This is required before you can
listern to CD's on your computer. Your CD players should have come with such a
cable.

Cheers.

Brian.
