However, we all know that getting it running on a PowerMac and getting it running on a PowerPC are two totally different things. -- +--------------------------+--------------------------------+ | Greg Hughes | Linux 2.1.108 / Pentium-II 300 | | 1B CS / Soft. I did a quick install test yesterday of pre DR3 on a G3 266

just out of curiosity, wouldn't the byte order by the same as a an alpha? In which case you would need to use alpha binaries rather than pc? serge Philippe Laliberte wrote: > >>>>> "Veli" == Veli Uysal <askim@picknowl.com.au> writes: > > Veli> I have a question out of quriosity!! Two things: 1) MkLinux: http://www.mklinux.apple.com/ 2) LinuxPPC: http://www.linuxppc.org/ You can download MkLinux from The AusMac Archive in Sydney at ftp://the.ausmac.net/pub/mac/MkLinux/ if you like - they have the DR3 version which was released last week. Also I hear they are bringing LinuxPPC online soon... Sphonky
