Hi, Does anyone know whether linux has a kernel which supports the Goldstar R420B interface. I have a double speed Goldstar CD-Rom and according to documentation provided on the url http://www.panix.com/~stimpson/linux.html states that this CD-Rom is supported but I can't find a patch for it anywhere. I have tried the Linux documentation project home page and tried to search for it with the "Search software map" option to see if it finds this driver but it does not appear to. I am currently using Linux 2.3 Slackware with Kernel 1.2.8 on CD from Walnut Creek CDROM. Do I need a version update??? Any help would be appreciated. Regards joe90@wave.co.nz

Check out kernel releases around 1.3.32. They support goldstar.
