i have just come across some cheap network cards, trouble is i don't know what they are! the only thing written on them is 'acer 5220A' or something similar, i can't find any acer network drivers at all so i am hoping they are compatible with a more common network card. they don't seem to work with ne2000 drivers (which would have made things soooo much simpler :), but that may just be a matter of settings.... windows 95 doesn't seem to autodetect it, which may not be surprising (how good is win95 autodetect code???) and i am yet to compile a linux kernel with a whole load of common drivers in it in the hope that will detect it! can anyone help with specs and jumper settings please? thanks in advance (if you could mail a response as well as following up this post i would appreciate it, my news feed is pretty slow) james
