[posting this for a friend: please answer via e-mail rather than in the group] [froggies: desole, j'ai eu la flemme de traduire pour le cross-post en francais dans le texte... pardonpardonpardon] Hello, I've got an Asus p/i-p55t2p4 motherboard, running linux with IDE HDs. I plan to switch to SCSI. Asus sell a SCSI Card (fast scsi 2) that works with their MB. It's the ASUS PCI-SC200 SCSI Card. Will it work under Linux ? This adapter is auto detected as PCI NCRC810 SCSI HOST ADAPTER. They says it's bundled with a NCR BIOS...

I have a card with this chipset working without any problem (indeed, since one year and a half 24h/day with 3 SCSI HDs, and two tapes, and I just added a CD-ROM). I however use the first proposed driver, I tried the second and it did not work correctly with the scsi-idle patch. This is with 2.0.27.
