I've been looking at the NCR SCSI chips and I have a few questions about them: What are the major differences between them? Both the 53c810 and 53c815 are 8 bit SCSI-2 at 10MB/sec so what's the major difference? Something to do with the BIOS?

Bingo, the 815 has it's own SDMS-BIOS on board, the 810 requires support from the main BIOS. -- -- Juergen Exner: jue@cs.tu-berlin.de FAX: 030/314-73623 snail-mail: TU Berlin; Sekr.
