When you build nn, you have the option of it building the nnmaster
database in native or network/portable byte order and alignment. Ask
whoever runs the nnmaster on your news server if they defined (I
think) NETWORK_DATABASE in the config.h for nn.

Note that your config must also be set up to use the same option.
