Hellow world... I have recently begun using Linux on my DX2-66 machine at home and have destroyed all traces of the evil Microsoft Sloth operating system from my hard drive. I am eventually planning on setting up my system as a multi-line dial in for the Cleveland area, but before I can take on such a grand task, I need to find a SLIP connection. My problem right now is that I can't afford the 150$ a month that some of the services are charging locally, and until the system is up and running in some semi-stable fashion, I can't ask users for donations. I'd preferably like to use a local or toll free number. I am willing to donate a 14.4 USRobotics Modem to my SLIP Host site and when I upgrade, a 28.8k US Robotics. Any information would be greatly appreciated, and please E-mail me your responses.

Relaible SL/IP is offered by OARnet, and dedicated line costs twice as much... installation costs are 400 or 1000 dollars. _zjt
