Anyone out there with an ioExtender have problems with the 1.2 kernels of Linux? My system freezes after it recognizes the two serial ports on my ioExtender - I suspect the driver only expects 1 port on the card but I also have a Bridgeboard which is recog nized by Linux as an 2088 when it is really a 2286 so something funny is up... The .9 kernel seems to run fine but since there are no ioExtender drivers in it or NetBSD I'd really like to get 1.2 up and about. Thanks for any help in advance, Kerry (kassal@ecn.purdue.edu)

Could you give a more specific description: What hardware do you have,
what version of the kernel/amiboot etc., when exactly does it crash?

Well you are a bit wrong about that - I wrote the first version of the
driver for 0.9.8, but I think you should go for 1.2 anyway.
