Phone Blaster 28.8k and Linux - does it work?

I'm thinking of buying a Phone Blaster 28.8k for use under both
Windows and Linux...

Is the PhoneBlaster supported by Linux? Does anybody using this
combination have any comments/experiences to share (good or bad)?

The PhoneBlaster looks good value for money, but I don't know
how good the modem performance is compared to a non-combination-card
modem (e.g. USR Sportster or Courier). Does anybody know how good the
modem is?

Any thoughts will be gratefully received, and I'll summarize the replies.

Thanks for your time.
