Hi ...

I am trying to run a dos game under dosemu in linux. the game is virtual
pool (CD-ROM). each time i try to start the game i just get an error message
and the execution of the game (not of dosemu) is aborted.
the error reads:

because i wasn't sure it is possible, however unlikely, that i also tried it
with a cracked version of this game which runs without the CD-ROM but then i
think the problem could possibly have stayed the same. of course i never did
this because it would have been illegal to get a cracked version.

i am using dosemu 0.64.3 and linux 2.0.29 (slackware).

- does anybody know this kind of error?
- is this the typical behaviour if a dos-application does not work with
  dosemu (whyever)?
- have i any means to work around the error?
