  To make your PC answering phonecalls you have to edit /etc/inittab.
Edit a line like this:

# Dialup lines
d1:23:respawn:/sbin/agetty -hit60 38400,19200,9600,2400,1200 ttyS1

After this your box should answer an incoming call and reply with a
login prompt,
