First off I have read the Xfree86-HOWTO; Configuring XFree86 A step-By-Step Guide and the readme.Trident in additon to the startx, xinit and xfree_svga man pages so flames > /dev/null. I am using a Trident 8900b on a Wang 386-40 wi 8 M of
Ram and 22 M of swap. I am using the TransAmeritech May 1994 CD-ROM release.
When I run startx the system/display appears to initialize and that is where I sit. I suspect I probably have something wrong with the timing so if anyone can look over the below info and config file any pointer will be appreciated and I will post a summary. Thanks in advance.
