Please post, we have a size limit on our mailfolder. I recall that ELF was the name for a single board 6502 based microcomputer whose schematics were first published in Popular Electronics back in about 1978? I think that a kit was then sold by a company called Newport Electronics. It was programmed of course in machine code -- I'm not sure whether a BASIC interpreter was even available. Anyway, I almost bought one, but as a high school kid I could not afford the <$200 price tag. I did dream about buying one though... Just thought that I would share this piece of nostalgia, since just about every other usage of ELF has been mentioned. Anybody else remember this distant ancestor of today's PC's? Jeff
