Hello everybody, I am thinking about a way to make a powerpoint-like presentation but using lyx instead. I know that I can use 'slides' style but this is very simple. Could you tell me another style or another way using Lyx or Latex or whatever program to make decent presentations, with graphics, equations and so on in Linux ? Thanks in advance

The Net Police strikes back! So, why not post English messages to Spanish groups? Is not knowing English a necessary condition to participate in such groups? If you don't like crossposting, why are doing so yourself? Who the hell do you think that you are, telling people what they can and cannot do in the net? Are you a dictator wannabee?

I think that if you can understand TEX and so on, you can also understand english without problems, isn't it ? The vast majority of Latex manuals I know are written in english. Sorry for the inconvenience anyway. Because there are English groups to post to.

Obviously not.

Because we don't know what group this guy it's reading, so we have
to answer to all the groups so the answer gets to him. But nobody
like crossposting.

It's just netiquette. Nothing more. Do you know what is it?

Beamer is the flavour of the month and is very good.
I use prosper a lot
http://prosper.sourceforge.net/
I find the code simpler, but it doesn't have all the navigation bells and
whistles of beamer, HA-prosper adds these things.

Actually, I think the government says 'because organized crime would use
cryptography'; but criminals with guns is the generalization.
If you were a criminal, would you select cryptography that is 'Key Recovery'

Bush should be prosecuted as a war criminal. 20000 people dead in
the illegal Iraq war.

The WOD (War on Drugs) in the USA it's the greatest felony commited
since slavery. I hope sometime in the future the history books will
tell the truth about this WOD. Have anybody heard something about the
"crack babies"? I couldn't believe it. It's a shame what the USA
government did to this children.

Yes. There are thousands of victims. All the people murdered by the
politics that did laws that made the possesion or selling of a
simple syringe a crime when everything about AIDS was well known.

That's why real democracies like the one we have in Spain and other
European countries don't consider private drug use as a crime.

The USA people it's to blame for all this. That's what they want and
what they have asked for to their government. Americans want their
neighbours to be investigated by the police. What about the famous
phrase: A democracy it's when you wake up at 6 o'clock in the morning
becouse someone knocked at your door and you can be sure it's just the
man who brings you milk?

That was obvious for everybody except the American people. What you
thought the NSA was for? It's watching over you, and they are now
larger than the CIA or the FBI. Be afraid. You have reasons to.
