Thanks to all who replied, I found all the necessary documentation and
followed the instructions given in the Cable-Modem Mini-Howto for my
ISP in Australia. I get as far as pinging the Proxy Server at the ISP,
but when I try to log on using rrclientd I get following replies:
kinit: Configuration file does not specify default realm when parsing
name hsimon
kdestroy: No credentials cache file found while destroying cache
Ticket cache not destroyed!
The syslog has following entries:
rrclientd [155]: GSS-API error parsing name: An invalid name was
supplied.
rrclientd [155]: GSS-API error parsing name: Configuration file does
not specify default realm
rrclientd [155]: rrclientd encountered an error.
The login command I use is as follow:
rrclientd -u hsimon /etc/rrpasswd dce-server
The cable connection is ok, since I have it working with
Windows95.
Any hints or contacts to ask appreciated.
Thanks
Horst Simon
