Try to mention the address and interrupt of your card at boot time
to linux like this:

LILO: Linux ether=5,0x300
------------^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This should force Linux to look explicit at this address for an ethernet
card. If you know the addresses of the shared memory, you can them also
mention, e.g.:

ether=5,0x300,0xd0000,0xd4000,eth0
