Which Ethernet card?

Hi, I will be buying a pair of ethernet cards for my 2 home PC's
soon, one a P166 running both Win95 and Linux, and one a 486 just
running Linux.

I'm after any tips on which ethernet cards are recommended, or
which ones to stay away from. I will probably just pick up some
cheapies from a swap meet, but if there are some cards to avoid
I'd like to be aware of them!

Thanks
Chris.
