Hello Users!

I'm working with Samba 19.18.p10 and SuSe 6.0 on a Linux-Server
(DualPentium)(ext2fs)
on a NT 4.0 (ServicePack 4) Workstation (NTFS-Filesystem).

From the NT Workstation I can see the Linux-Server in the NT-Networking
environment
with all its free given directorys.

But I cannot write to it or delete files in the free given directory
"public".

In the /etc/smb.conf is the [home] Sektion and the free given
[/va/samba/public]Sektion is the entry is writable = ok and create mode =
0750.

Under NT, I can see and open /var/samba/public but not write or delete any
files.

I think the Samba Server shut be worked with its native entrys.

Are there some other access-rights from Samba or Linux OS avaiable or
nessessary?

Is it possible under Samba 19.18p10 to write from NT /NTFS to Linux 6.0
ext2fs?

Thank you for helping out!
