Ad hoc connection under Linux?

Hi,
I think about setting up a wireless network. Due to the building I would
prefer a wireless networtk.
- The first question I have, if there is already a Linux support for the
11Mbit USB devices.
- And, if so, how many devices will I need to connect to my server? One for
each receiver or one for all receivers? I plan to install one server and
two clients.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
