Q: kernel: redirect from ???

I have seen the following message in /var/adm/messages
three times in the last couple of weeks. I am connected
to the net via cslip to a hub, which in turn is connected
via cslip to an isdn router.

Aug 21 19:12:45 saturn kernel: redirect from 202.12.xx.xx
Aug 21 19:13:07 saturn last message repeated 92 times

The redirect from ip address is that of my hub.
I tracked it down to src/linux/net/inet/icmp.c but am
not a kernel hacker, so can't make sense of the code....
I tried ping'ing my box from another host several
hops away but didn't generate the message. Any explanations ?
Curiously Yours

The machine 202.12.x.x got given a packet it thinks you should have
delivered directly. Check the routing tables and especially the netmasks on
the boxes.
