Hello all:

I want to build a Beowulf Linux Cluster, and need an etherswitch for that.

Since my funds are somewhat limited, I am looking to buy a Kalpana 2015
Etherswitch (w/ 15 full-duplex 10MBit/s ports). This is an old unit (KALPANA
contributed in the early days to bringing switching to the masses and was
later acquired by Cisco - around late 95/96).

In early '95 I implemented a couple of these switches for a client in a
networking environment I designed and built, and was very pleased with them.
These are cut-through switches, so they won't validate packets, but they are
faster than validating switches.

If you have one (or two - they can be back-channeled) still around (they will
no longer be deployed in production enviroments - I replaced the '95 ones
with Alantec/Fore 7000s in '96 and with Cisco CAT5000s in '97) - I would
REALLY appreciate your e-mail.

Did I mention I pay this out of my own pocket?
Thus I'm looking for a bargain...

Thanks a lot,
Tommy
