I'm a Windows user but have wondered whether the following is possible under
Linux.
My service provider has an ADSL broadband network via ATM. I'm using an
Efficient networks (www.efficient.com) PCI ATM adapter to access the
Internet. It seems it is not possible to share my Internet connection under
Windows so I see whether it would be possible under Linux.
I guess I would first need a driver for my card under Linux if it is
conceptually possible. Is there any NAT software under Linux that would
enable this kind of Internet connection sharing?
thanks

Errrrr.... not possible with Windows ? try Wingate or Sygate or something along that line. For Linux its called IP Masq. but then again you'll need get your effiecent card going - which I believe there's no support in Linux, you'll probably need a Dlink router or something (I'm just not too sure since I don't have ATM ADSL card at all) I do know for sure that 512K/256K Ethernet Card Plan works Very Well with Linux :-) Internet sharing isn't a problem at all as well.
