During startup, Starting Netatalk: socket: Invalid argument socket: Invalid argument atalkd: can't get interfaces, exiting. My /etc/atalk/atalkd.conf only contains one line with ETH0 Could anybody send me some sample config files? I want to use the Linux (Suse 6.1) server as a printer server, using Ghostscript to print on a HP laserjet 4. Perhaps this could also be done by using tcp/ip, so I won't need the appletalk? Regards, Hans

You may want to look into LPRng as a replacement for BSD lpd--it will make what you are trying to do much easier. -ckm
