That is a completely wrong misunderstanding of the GPL. The GPL applies
to the raw source code. Compiled binaries, heck, even source RPMs are not
required to be available for free. Tar.gz (or uncompressed plain text)
source files need only be available and the GPL is satisfied. Everything
else provided by Red Hat for free is *gravy*, including binary RPMs, iso
images, etc.
I wish people would understand that!
