He should try using YaST (SuSE). It sets up TV tuner cards, scanners, printers, multiple video cards, Wacom tablets, Nvidia driver options, color depth/resolution/refresh rate, sound cards, joysticks, IDE DMA control, partition resizing, boot loader configuration, all from a beautiful point & click GUI that even my mom could use. SuSE 8.2 is so fast and easy to configure I may never want to use anything else. Too bad RedHat chose to abandon a huge potential market. --Keith
